Amrinder Luther is the Financial Analyst at alternative payment processing startup, Payverse. In addition to Finance, he holds responsibilities for various other departments at Payverse. Amrinder graduated from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in New York with a BBA in May 2021. He majored in Finance and double minored in Law & Policy and Computer Applications. He believes that an understanding of these three fields is important to succeed in many business roles.

Amrinder was first exposed to the payments industry at Payscout where he was the Product Intern under Eric Schuler’s team. At Payscout, Amrinder was responsible for market research, product evaluation, and product strategy. Amrinder learned a lot over the course of his 8-month internship. After forming a working knowledge of the payments industry, Amrinder transitioned to a full-time role in Finance at Payverse working directly with company executives and board members.

Amrinder met Sandra Blair through Payscout and was enthusiastic at the opportunity. At Payverse, Amrinder’s responsibilities include but are not limited to FP&A, financial modeling, and evaluating company strategy. He hopes to learn more about startup expansion strategy and understanding firsthand how companies scale.

Amrinder’s interests outside of work include fitness activities, learning about South Asian music culture, following sports, and keeping up with the latest in business and technology. At his core, Amrinder is a learner and is always looking for new experiences that develop his own knowledge.

Rodrique Fru is an accomplished technology professional with a proven track record in leadership roles and extensive experience in software engineering. With a strong foundation in Software Engineering, he holds a Master’s degree from Southern Polytechnic University (now Kennesaw State University).

Throughout his career, Rodrique has excelled in various positions, leveraging his expertise to drive innovation, develop scalable solutions, and lead cross-functional teams. As the Chief Technology Officer at Payverse, a leading payment technology company, Rodrique plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction. Payverse provides the leading payment technology to connect commerce anytime, anywhere, enabling global technologies to bridge cultures and facilitate seamless commerce worldwide. In his current role, Rodrique oversees the development of cutting-edge solutions and ensures the delivery of high-quality services across multiple channels, including UnionPay International members, payment processors, direct merchants, ISV/tech partners, ISO agents, and wholesale ISOs.

Prior to Payverse, Rodrique held key leadership positions at MerchantE, where he served as the Vice President of Architecture. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of scalable and efficient systems, shaping the company’s architectural vision and driving successful project outcomes. With his strong leadership skills and technical acumen, Rodrique led cross-functional teams and delivered complex projects to meet business objectives.

Rodrique’s career journey also includes notable roles such as System Architect, Manager, and Development Manager, where he demonstrated his ability to solve intricate coding challenges and drive technical excellence. His experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, where he designed and developed applications contributing to the success of Thomson Reuters’ West business. Additionally, he gained valuable expertise as a Software Engineer at Mighty Distributing System of America, where he enhanced web presence and internal management systems .With a passion for technology and a relentless drive for innovation, Rodrique Fru continues to make significant contributions to the technology industry. His exceptional leadership, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence positions him as a valuable asset to Payverse.
